A big thank you to Sig Rana

On 15th March, 2026, Sig Rana from 30 Signal Regiment completed the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon with a 15kg Bergen, all in support of the Royal Signals Charity.

Finishing in 2 hours and 11 minutes, Sig Rana also managed to raise an outstanding £725.

“The run started smoothly, though the last couple of miles decided to test my resolve, mainly because one of my energy gels made a daring escape somewhere along the way!”

Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon provided a truly spectacular backdrop, made even more memorable by a crowd of over six thousand runners and countless supporters cheering along the route

“To my surprise, quite a few people stopped to chat and took photos with me - apparently, running with a 15 kg day sack makes you stand out just a little!”
