One Day’s Pay Scheme
What is it?
Service Day's Pay Giving (SDPG) also known as One Days Pay (ODP) is a scheme within the British Army, allowing serving personnel to contribute a taxable day's pay to their Regimental or Corps benevolent funds.
The scheme allows serving personnel to make a voluntary contribution to their Corps or Regimental benevolent funds.
Contribution: Personnel voluntarily contribute a portion of their daily pay, typically spread over monthly instalments, to the scheme.
Funding: The scheme supports various aspects of Corps life, including welfare grants, morale and efficiency initiatives, and grants to similar charities.
Administration: The scheme is typically administered by the Corps or Regimental charity, which is a registered charity (not an MOD fund).
Benefits: The donations are deducted from an individual's pay before tax, offering a tax benefit to each subscriber.

Note: Reservists payments are only taken in April, May and June.
When You Leave the Army
Your contributions stop automatically when your military pay ends. However, you and your immediate dependants remain eligible for benevolence support through the RSC.
