Royal Signals to compete at London International Horse Show on 17 Dec 21

This year the Royal Signals will have two riders compete at the prestigious Inter-Services Jumping Final at the London International Horse Show on Fri 17 Dec 21.

Capt Zoe Andrew, 3(UK) Division Signal Regiment and LCpl Laura Charley, 16 Signal Regiment have spent the 2021 season competing in a number of military show jumping competitions to get themselves one of the eight spots awarded to horse and rider combinations from across the British Army, Royal Navy, RAF and Police.

Both riders were able to secure their place early on in the season with some excellent results. Capt Zoe Andrew, won and was 2nd in the qualifiers at the UK Armed Forces Equestrian Championships and LCpl Laura Charley won the qualifier at the Army Championships and finished 2nd at the UK Armed Forces competition. These results were enough to secure them 3rd and 4th place in the points table without having to compete in the final qualifier at the RAF Championships in September.
