At the 2026 Army Championships, our soldiers didn't just compete - they dominated.
Sig Worrel claimed the Ladies title, then teamed up with Sig McMahon to take the Doubles crown as well! Sig Sanders (11 Sig Regt) was crowned U25 Champion, while Sig Frederick (71 Sig Regt) picked up the Most Promising Talent award, marking him out as one to watch in the years ahead.
It's a brilliant set of results, and a reminder of something easy to overlook: a career in the Army doesn't mean putting your sporting ambitions on hold. Quite the opposite. Service personnel get access to coaching, competitive structures, and the kind of support that lets talent thrive alongside a forces career whether that's on operations, on exercise, or out on centre court.
