Director's Coin Award for Outstanding Service to Army Reserve Football

At the annual Army Football Association dinner on 20 Oct DASCB Maj Gen Shaun Burley CB MBE had the pleasure of awarding Cpl Andrew Redford, Royal Corps of Signals, the Director's Coin for his outstanding service to Army Reserve Football.

Andrew was the first reservist to be awarded this recognition as a key member of the back-room staff for the Army Reserve Men's Representative team beginning back in 2012.  He has led as kit manager and overall administrative support of the team for nearly a decade and he has done an excellent job creating a superb service to the team, especially when balancing his civilian managerial role within British Telecom, his Army Reserve role within 81 Signals Squadron, family life and his position within Army Reserve Football.
