A-Jay's story: 105 Miles

A-Jay's Story

WHAT: I am embarking on a personal marathon, running 10 days to cover a total distance of 105 miles, in celebration of the Royal Signals Corps' 105th Birthday. This endeavor is not just a physical challenge; it is a heartfelt commitment to support the Royal Signals Charity.

WHY: The Royal Signals Charity plays a vital role in our community, providing essential assistance to Royal Signals soldiers, veterans, and their dependants who find themselves in situations of need, hardship, or distress. Beyond financial support, this charity fosters comradeship and morale within the Corps family, ensuring that no one faces their struggles alone. I am currently serving as a soldier in the Royal Signals. It has been a privilege to support this charity.

HOW: From April 1st to April 10th, 2025, I will be running approximately 10.5 miles each day. My goal is to raise £250 to contribute towards the invaluable work of the Royal Signals Charity. I invite you to join me on this journey—your support can make a significant difference in the lives of those who have served our nation. Together, we can honor their sacrifices and uplift our community.
