Royal Signals Association
We formally formed as an Association in 2018, (Becoming a branch of the RSA in 2020 ) after a decade of informal communication on social media. Our ethos is to enjoy the special camaraderie we had back in the days of the Cold War, in what was then, a unique troop within 7th Signal Regiment, 1(BR) Corps and the Corps itself. Whilst overwhelmingly our members are former members of Alpha 5 Troop, we welcome all other members of the Corps who have a connection to those days of “Tracking" around West Germany. We hold annual reunions, for the most part in Middlewich, Cheshire. With a rotation of a formal dinner, one year and an informal “squadron bar” type event the next. Voluntary subscription is priced at £25 p.a. (giving a discount of "PRI" items)
