Getting involved in the Royal Signals Charity Lottery couldn’t be easier—or more rewarding.

From 20–27 April 2025, eight soldiers from 214 Signal Squadron swapped their usual kit for skis during Exercise HAWK NORDIC—a challenging week of Nordic skiing in the snow-covered wilderness of Sweden.

I am incredibly grateful to the Royal Signals Charity for their support during a challenging time. Their generosity made my life significantly easier, and I truly appreciate everything they have done for me.

The Royal Signals Charity has proudly partnered with Run for Charity, offering a fantastic opportunity for supporters to raise funds while taking part in exciting running events across the UK and beyond.

The Royal Signals Charity plays a crucial role in supporting serving personnel, providing them with the opportunities and resources needed to thrive in their roles. One powerful example of this support was during the 216 PARA Signals Squadron's Adventure Training Expedition, Exercise Mercury Slope, which took place in the French Alps from 22nd February to 1st March. This challenging Type 3 Adventure Training expedition aimed to enhance the squadron's skills and resilience in a demanding environment.

On May 8th, 2025, the world will mark a poignant milestone—the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. A day that commemorates the end of World War II in Europe, VE Day stands as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unity of those who fought for freedom.

The Royal Signals Charity has always shown unwavering commitment to supporting its Corps community, and a powerful example of this support is its ongoing relationship with the Royal Signals Amateur Radio Society (RSARS).

I loved my life in the armed forces and still miss it to this day. From basic training at Guildford to trade training at Catterick. As a Data Telegraphist I was posted to Germany. I met some amazing people along the way and every moment was an experience I will never forget (along with my regimental number!) It is a different life and there is no experience like it.
