The Royal Signals Yacht Club aims to promote sailing amongst all ranks of the Royal Corps of Signals and its retired members.



We provide encouragement, funding and support to all members of the Corps who wish to participate for adventurous training, competitive or recreational benefit.

The fabulous news is that, in addition to expeditions and training, the Offshore Section provides cruising opportunities with 3 Yachts available for Charter throughout the year.

Prices start from as little as £100 per day and subject to conditions serving and ex Corps members may be eligible for a discount of up to 50% of the fee.

*Membership of the Royal Signals Yacht Club is open to all serving and retired members of The Corps and their families. By exception, membership may be extended to others who have particular links with The Corps. If you don’t have SCRM please contact <HQ RSIGNALS>

How to become a member

Dinghy day boat and windsurfing

Free to join…

There are no membership fees for those participating in Dingy and Day boat or Windsurfing activities but a nominal charge of £1 per person per calendar year is levied to all those wishing to participate in any of the yachting activities under the offshore section of the club. This is principally for insurance purposes and the charge will be made at the first time of booking a charter yacht each year.


Membership benefits

  • Access to a range of activities put on by The Club including sail training, adventurous training, competitive racing or recreational sailing.
  • Boat charter of one of the three yachts at extremely competitive prices (subject to appropriate qualifications and experience).
  • Invitation to AGM and dinner – held annually in the autumn of each year at a Solent waterside venue.
  • Members will receive regular communication from The Club and be kept up-to-date with club activities.
