Our Annual Book and Bring and Buy sales are very well supported and we are always looking for other activities of interest. In the past we have hosted various presentations by members and invited guests.

West London Branch History
The Royal Signals Association (RSA) was formed in 1920 at the birth of the Corps from the Royal Engineers. The West London Branch was originally named ‘The London Branch’ and was one of the first Association branches. It is probable that several of the early Branch members were ex Royal Engineers Signallers who had been transferred into the Corps on its formation.
Individual Branch Membership is available to any former member of the Corps. Associate membership is available to the partners and family of members, and to anyone else approved by the Association’s Committee, who have had associations to the Corps (eg civilian employees and support arms).
The current annual subscription is £5 for members and £3 for associate members. If you would like to join please contact the branch using the contact form below.
Please Note: You will be asked to attend a regular meeting before acceptance.
Apart from our regular monthly meetings we organise several events as a branch and support other branches in joint activities both in the UK and in Europe. These include:
- Monthly meetings
- Branch Annual Dinner
- Branch Christmas Draw
- Annual Governors Parade at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, normally followed by a Curry Lunch. (Organised by this branch but supported by other London Branches, the Sheffield Branch RSA and other Affiliated Branches)
- Supporting the Commandants rehearsal ‘Sovereigns Parade’ at Sandhurst, complete with Picnic on the Lawn
- Providing several competitive teams to the Aldershot Branch Annual Quiz Night
- Supporting 31 Signal Regiment Associations on their annual European trips.
All these activities help provide interest, enjoyment and many opportunities to meet other members of the Corps.
