16 Jun Project 204 – Delayed
In light of the continuing developments around the COVID-19 pandemic, the Corps have taken the difficult decision to delay the Project 204 music festival, with the event no longer scheduled to take place in August 2020. A decision point has now been set for later this year, at which point a choice will be made to either delay the festival until August 2021, or to cancel the event completely.
While this decision may not come as a surprise to many of you given the current climate, it is undoubtedly as much of a disappointment for you as it is for our team. Rest assured that the decision was not taken lightly and that all options were considered, and every effort made to ensure the event could still go ahead this August.
Many factors were considered prior to arriving at this decision, chiefly the risk that would be presented by having thousands of people congregating in such close proximity. It was decided that allowing the festival to go ahead at the current time was not possible.
All of us in the Project 204 Team would like to thank those of you who have supported us on our journey so far, and we look forward to your continued support going forward.
Those of you that have already purchased tickets will receive an automatic refund, credited to the payment method used when the initial purchase was made. Additional details on refunds will be provided via these channels in due course.
Once again, a huge thank you to those of you that have supported us with the project so far and we hope to see you next year.
Any updates on the status of the festival will be posted to our social media channels.
