What is All-Army CyberStakes?

All-Army CyberStakes is the premier US DoD individual, computer security, skills competition.

The competition is run annually in an online, jeopardy style, Capture-the-Flag format. This will be the 4th year that the Army Cyber Institute has hosted the event, and the first time that the UK MoD has been invited. The competition tests a diverse array of skills including forensics, cryptography, binary exploitation, reverse engineering, and web-based exploitation. For more information on the competition and how to prepare see the Competitors page.

When and Where is it?

The competition will run for 10 days, 24 April to 3 May, and will be hosted entirely online. You can compete from any location or device.

While the competition will be available for 10 days, you do not need to set aside the entire time to compete. This lengthy period is intended to accommodate all participants in all organisations, making the competition perfect for those directly supporting COVID-19 and those working from home.

Who can participate?

The competition is open to any federal government employee as well as all cadets in ROTC and attending the service academies. From a UK MoD perspective, the competition is open to anyone with a valid MODNET email, which will be used to validate registration applications.  At this time we are unable to open the competition to the general public or to other domains e.g

There are no fees whatsoever. This competition is entirely free to all participants.
