RSA Norfolk Branch
We hold regular monthly meetings on the second Saturday of each month except October and November when they are held on the first Saturday at:
Army Reserve Centre
The meetings start at 1000 hrs and normally last for about two hours. A subscription of £1.00 is paid by every Member attending the meeting and of course we try to get them to buy as many raffle tickets as possible.
Join your local RSAMembership of The RSA is open to any person – Regular, TA/Reserve, National Service, ATS, WRAC – who served with the Corps.
We take part in many activities during the year, as well as the normal national events we attend the Armed Forces Day, Royal Norfolk Showground flag down parade where Veterans and Service and Emergency Services take the final salute on the last day of proceedings
In October, we Join with the Nurses of the Edith Cavell Trust, The Red Cross, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, other Veterans and Dignitaries to commemorate the Execution of Edith Cavell in WW1(1915).
The Remembrance time is a full programme for our members with Parades, Poppy selling and school visits, leading up to Christmas and the New Year with our Christmas lunch held after our December meeting.
